UrbanPlay is a concept campaign designed for the City of Helsinki developed during the User Inspired Design course at the Aalto University in 2009. The project is aimed to be implemented in 2012 during which Helsinki holds the status of ‘Design Capital of the World’. At the core of the campaign are playful interventions taking place in bus and tram stops, on metro platforms and around other places which are frequently used for short term waiting.

One of my upcoming project is to create a 4 number life style magazine that present modern Ostrobotnian culture life. The starting point for the idea is the four seasons: summer, autumn, winter and spring. Every season in Ostrobotnia offers something unique and different so this is the base of the contents. The magazine focus on culture life, design, art and culinary experiences.

The kickoff took place already last week together with the team, Ken Kackur, Eva Forsman and Anders Aromäki. We brainstormed and had a really good time…

The first issue will be released in summer 2011. Keep your eyes open then and be inspired by the richness Ostrobotnia offer us!
